Context: The unprecedented rise in antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections is a challenging dilemma, urging the development of novel and effective antibiotics for treatment such infections. Anti-virulence therapy promising solution this regard. Unlike antibiotics, these drugs could lower selective evolutionary pressure on population target virulence factor rather than growth pathways, thereby targeting repressing propagation antibiotic resistance genes bacteria. present study aimed to investigate anti-virulence against infections, as well mechanisms action challenges.
